yay! finally finished!
Please give suggestions on the wings? I didnt know how to shade them properly...
And the background! I really dont think it looks nice... PLEASE help me!!! please!
Anyways... I hope you kinda like it ^^
oh and I used refrence for the pose and ribbons and I kinda did my own wings... so ANYONE *cough cough jess and em* who thinks I copied... haha you're WRONG!!! besides copying is an art right?! ^^

I think the background's fine. It just doesn't really look like she's interacting with it, which might be why it's bothering you. Along the lines of the wings: were you going more for realism, or were you more concerned with the shading. If you can, I'd go and study bird wings, because thats pretty much what angel wings are and look like. Even if its stylized it should help. Go to a biology teachers classroom or a taxodermist and ask if they have any wired bird wings you could look at/handle. Study the shading on that too =)

The shading is really cool, and I've dicided the hands are absolutely fine ^^ The head is a little weird though, coming forward a bit toomuch. And you must fix those 3/4 views... Copying is not an art. Copying is stealing. But at least you didn't copy the colours. Nice

the problem is... that I know exactly (in theory) how to shade bird like angel wings... but bein the idiot I am I decided to make my life difficult for me and do these ones!
Yeah... that was wht was bothering me... I put a small shadow at the bottom of the cloud thaough to make it seem as if she was floating above it but it didnt work...

yeah... I guess it is... I just copied a pic from xxx holic and I think I got the side veiw ^^ I have figured out what to do to help me draw, deaw those sketch lines though the middle of the face ^^

I used REFRENCE!! and coping IS an ART!!! ask Ali!!! I am so gonna ask ppl in the forums about this!!!!

Yup, draw lines through the face, it helps. You know that one pic of Chi/Freya you have in your faves? [link] Now didn't steal it, but they did use close reference, and some of the comments are quite skepical.
